Campaign finance files, political party units (category 2), 1974-1994.

Summaries of receipts and expenditures by political party committees and funds other than the principal campaign committees of individual candidates. Most are county, local, and district party organizations. They summarize income from contributions and fund-raisers; show transfers of funds to candidate election/reelection committees; itemize non-campaign expenditures (such as the cost of producing literature, meeting expenses, expenses of organizing fund raisers); itemize expenditures on behalf of individual candidates for state or national office (such as bumper stickers, handbills, radio advertisements); and summarize assets and liabilities. The files were created under the board's predecessors, the Ethics Commission (1974-1975) and the Ethical Practices Board (1975-1997).
